FS or FT: Borg Warner S378

Brand new, never used on anything. Bolted to a manifold once just for a picture. T4 footprint, 4.5" V-band downpipe flange. ~79mm compressor inducer, 1.25 a/r exhaust housing. Rated to 1150hp but will do more than that. There's a slight dent in the compressor cover lip. Don't know how that got...

Car Craft Summer Nationals 2004 Pics

Yep, at the State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, which, even though I'm not from there, seemed like the perfect place for it EXCEPT they had the burnout competition at the smaller place and not at the main grandstands, so it was nearly impossible to see anything unless you were right at the fence, it...

    PCV valve stuck, need help

I was working on my beater (89 Integra 1.6L) and I decided I'd replace the PCV valve even though the idle was fine, which turned out to be not such a great idea because I somehow managed to break the top half of it off with just the lower half still stuck in the grommet in the lower part of the...

    OT - TBI SUburban troubleshooting

When I changed my fuel filter, I didn't feel much difference at all in fuel economy nor performance, however, I'm sure replacing it now saved me from trouble down the road. I don't know how it is on yours, but mine was held onto the frame with this silver bracket that, when first removed, looked...

Boyd Coddingtons off a 99 Camaro

Bolt pattern is the same at 5x4.75 and I don't think fender clearance is an issue either, so they will fit.

    Problem with AIM

Ohhh, why didn't you say so? Same thing happens on our school's computers. The firewall at the school kills any sort of chat application, be it mIRC, AIM, MSN Messenger, nothing goes through. If you try to open it, it will kill it shortly thereafter.

    Problem with AIM

Most likely, it's your internet and/or ISP doing something screwy. Restart your computer, see if it solves anything.

    OT - TBI SUburban troubleshooting

'94 TBI 350, so that would be the LO5, if I'm not mistaken. I've got the smaller LO3 TBI in the wagon and I had this same problem with the car and after a few dead end guesses, it turned out to be that the main PCV hose that goes from the PCV valve in the driver's side valve cover to the front...

Formula for computing cubic inch displacement

    Bore diameter x bore diameter x .7854 x stroke length x number of cylinders = displacement So current GM 3.8L, for example. 3.80 bore, 3.40 stroke. 3.8 x 3.8 x .7854 x 3.4 x 6 = 231.3599904 That's cubic inches. Now, multiply that by 16.387064 because that's how many cubic...

    Wheel bearings

Hmm, that makes sense, and yea, I believe when I do press the brakes lightly so as to slow down gently, the noise fades, so I'll have to look into the brakes. Also, I heard this from an Auto Zone employee and I doubt it's true, but he said that when you buy new rotors, you have to have them...
