It is the opti, if he baought a cap and rotor kit he did not replace the optical sensor in it is what causes it to fail. Believe me and tons of other lt1 owners, get one from a dealer and be done with it. ;)

I'm not trying to make the seller look bad, I already bought 1. But for the weary people I was saying why don't they wait and see since they think it is a scam.

I use a bag of silica based stuff that you use in shipping containers. I put 2 (3lb) bags of it in the car to absorb the moisture in the air, also I have put an epoxy covering on my garage floor. So far so good I haven't had a mildew problem yet and I live in a very moist area.
