    Why use a distributor?

OK, I can buy the fact that misfires raise EGTs in a waste spark system. Two of the stock igntion systems in a 6 coil arrangement would still misfire as badly as the stock system, but probably not contribute to the EGT problem. The E-motive provides the benefits of multiple coils and high...

    Why use a distributor?

Don, I too have wondered about this use of distributors among the Buick guys. I know you use the TEC3... and there can be no argument that a 60-tooth crank trigger will give more accurate timing than a 3-magnet one. The E-motive TEC3 has ignition circuits built - in that hits the coils...

    Wanted: Odd-Fire Crank

Thanks 49 but 3.625 is too much stroke for my build - Long story that I may/probably will post about when this thing is finally done. My setup will be different, to say the least. My odd-fire, twin turbo motor will use Electromotive TEC3r engine management - Crank trigger, cam sensor, and 6...

WTB: Stage II Odd Fire Crank

Yes I do. Don't know if its a BMS, but it's a billet piece in perfect condition, standard/standard. I think Ron T. said its origin was BGN.

WTB: Stage II Odd Fire Crank

Bump. Can't believe there isn't someone that wants to get some $ for that odd-fire stuff! I can use 3.400 to 3.550 stroke, and will trade a perfect 3.625" crank for it if desired.

    Wanted: Odd-Fire Crank

I'm looking for an Odd-Fire Crank that has approximately 3.500 stroke, in good condition. Not sure what strokes were made/available... Ron T. has offered the 3.590 piece in his race car (if it survives the last 3 weeks of the season) but my ideal would be a bit smaller stroke. Thanks...

10 Best cars to modify for drag strip or circuit track

My twin turbo Stage II powered Datsun 280Z should do quite well at the drags and road course - Should be faster/quicker than any of the above plus quite a bit below the stated price. Fully adjustable suspension and 3 sets of tires ( street, road race, and drag) will allow me to set the car up...

    Holy Injectors,Batman!

Yeah, air probably isn't a problem, but the Aeromotive regulators tend to bleed down when not being supplied fuel pressure. I want to make sure that full fuel pressure will be there on the secondaries witout delay when required. Dead head on a bypass regulated system should not be a problem, IMO...
