    help please!!!

What's in your van now? Slap a turbo on it. Low boost blow-through carburetor set-up!

New parts installed, new problem to follow it...

trans feels as if its grabbing it firmly?? Long shot but could the converter be locking up for some reason???

    help please!!!

Believe me, you're gonna get sticker shock when you venture outside the realm of Chevy-dom. Putting a Buick turbo V6 combo into that van sounds like a challenge but a colossal money pit, too. What would I recommend? Build a mild 350 and put a small nitrous kit on it..... Why? 350 Chevy's...

    Car Covers

Be REAL careful.....this is definitely one of those items that "you get what you pay for". A paint job can be really boogered up QUICK out in the elements with a poor cover. And we all know that body work is mega-dollars anymore.

How come can't boost over 12 with no contoller?

I know we're talking about a whole different animal here with the T25 on my buggy but it's the same basic idea. I threaded the T25's stock actuator rod and run it with zero preload and let the Grainger valve take care of the level of boost. I KNOW the Grainger will do 20 lbs. alone.....I've...

How come can't boost over 12 with no contoller?

Mine has a bleed hole as well. It's on the bottom of the valve in the picture.....otherwise it'll get crud in it being out in the open like it is in the buggy. ;)

How come can't boost over 12 with no contoller?

I've used this Grainger check valve (about $10) since Feb. on my turbocharged VW air-cooled motor. It's allowed me to get 18 lbs. of boost out of a wastegate actuator that's set up for 10-12. Set-it-and-forget-it accuracy and repeatability. I couldn't be happier. As for tuning it, I...

    which scanmaster to buy?

I plan to get Power Logger as soon as the funds allow BUT.... Not to push the Scanmaster or flame logging but...... Logging/Laptops aren't front-and-center on the dash as a Scanmaster is for on-the-spot tuning. You can't babysit BLM's from a laptop on the passenger seat...or watch your knock...

93 Gas is Gone! First Scanmaster Readings

"THE MAN" is slowly weaning us off 93 octane. I have two stations I go to religiously-both within 5 miles. They're both big volume stations and I've NEVER had an issue with them in my Regal OR my turbo buggy.

    which scanmaster to buy?

You don't NEED a Scanmaster to use the Power Logger. I've had a Scanmaster on my past two Regals but have longed for some sort of logger for troubleshooting the vast array of issues our beloved cars have.  I'd recommend having both if you can afford it. The Scanmaster is...

Impressive LS2 powered Formula TA street car runs 8.95 @151mph.

LS motors NEVER cease to amaze me. I can't get enough of the Ohio Boys Camaro. The LSX event is coming to Memphis soon. I'd LOVE to go but I've gotta work. :(

Install: 4" MAF pipe w/ integral sensor

Thanks for all the input!! Truth is, my actual idle-warm-in-park is great with the updated chip. BLM's as well as every other reading are spot-on. The only two other issues I'm experiencing are: BLM drop at steady cruise MPH, say 60, 70, etc.. RPM drop when I come to a stop...ALMOST...

Install: 4" MAF pipe w/ integral sensor

Hi Brian, Eric sent me another chip that radically improved my idle, BLM's especially. But the BLM drop at cruise is driving me nutso. Mine runs like mad under hard throttle NO doubt about that. Like that Extender Chip, huh? Hmmm...... I might give that a shot. Seems like it'd allow...

Install: 4" MAF pipe w/ integral sensor

I went from 15 lbs. to 16.5. Goes to show the stock Mass Air was undoubtedly a restriction. Boost response is greatly improved as well.

Install: 4" MAF pipe w/ integral sensor

I have the same set-up but it's not working well with my TT pump gas chip at all. I've been fighting a serious RPM-drop when I come to a stop as well as a BLM drop at cruise speed. WOT and under-boost performance is outstanding, though. Gained 1.5 lbs. of boost.

Install: 4" MAF pipe w/ integral sensor

Hi Brian, I have the same set-up on my Regal. Mine is a 4" inlet x 9" K&N filter straight from Full Throttle. Not an open-ended type at all. Looks just like the one in the picture there.

    RJC boost control confusion..

Here's what I understand the hole to do: It's somewhere for the residual boost pressure to go. When the Grainger ball and spring release, they send airflow to the wastegate actuator to open the wastegate. When the ball and spring reseat, there is still air in between the valve and the...

    Looking for cheap turbos. Where?

If you find good rebuildable cores, I had excellent luck with home for rebuild kits. Best of luck in your pursuit!

    RJC boost control confusion..

I threaded and added and adjuster sleeve to the wastegate actuator on the T25 on my turbo buggy. It's set at very little preload. My boost control valve ("RJC valve" is where I do my adjusting) makes for a VERY fast boost rise and very accurate peak boost control. It starts boosting around...

    RJC boost control confusion..

Hey Roc87! That's a great idea on the spring. Simple but effective.
