If your car is already starting alright is it necessary to go through the routine of finding tdc and then 25 degrees atdc and so on to set the cam sensor? Or can you just hook up the Casper's tool and set it? Thanks, Tim.

With a pf-52 oil filter my car has always held six quarts of oil, right on the mark. After having the timing chain and rod and main bearings replaced now it looks like it has a quart too much according to the same dip stick! How is this possible??? Thanks.

Do you or do you not have to prime the oil pump when changing the timing chain? I had a GM mechanic tell me that the oil pump doesn't loose it's prime when you change the timing chain. What would happen if you didn't prime it?

The wastegate control solenoid that is located on the passenger side valve cover appears to have places for two vacuum lines to hook up. Mine only has one vacuum line attached and it's on the right side facing the engine. Is this correct and what does the other side go to?

I understand that you can run a thrasher chip with race gas and disconnect the 02 sensor. With it disconnected will the race gas ruin the sensor? If so, do you have to take out the sensor and replace it with something? What do most people use for the replacement? Thanks.

Do you try to tune the SMC alky kit, the very first time, from a dead stop and go through the gears or go from around 65mph in 3rd gear? If you get it right in 3rd gear at wot, will it also be right in 1st and 2nd gear? If I'm a little rich at wot in 3rd gear and also getting around 5 degrees...

There are three connections on the tank of the SMC tank. One is the red and black connector which can only go on one way. The other two appear to be interchangeable. Can these two go either way, and if not which way do they go? This is a single nozzle kit. Thanks, Tim.
