I have an 81 Regal and i want to get the dash plaque off without breaking any tabs and so far no one in town with a g-body has been any help at all. ANY method without breaking the tabs will help.

I own a 81 Regal, and from day 1 to now i have had trouble with the dash lights and the radio blowing fuses. I know it's an electrical short but I don't know where to even start checking, I'm only 16 so there is little experience, don't hate. Any advice would be appreciated.
