Where can I get a reasonable priced aluminum radiator?

Hey gang. About a year ago, one of the advertisers was listing an aluminum radiator for our GN's at a very reasonable price. I think it was around $199 or $249. I'm looking for a replacement for my stock radiator. I already have the dual fan set up, plus a have a jerry rigged external tranny...

    Smoke tail light covers (Lund)

Had Lund smoke tail light covers on my '87 GN, but one finally caught the wind and flew off. I'd love another set of the Lund wrap around type. Any ideas? I can't find em anyplace. Thought someplace had them on Amazon, but the order got kicked back. Apparently they didn't have them either.

    Brake fade on new Powermaster

I installed a Kirban rebuilt powermaster (actually it was Cardone rebuilt), and bled the unit at least 5x and the lines at least 8x. Went through 5 small bottles of brake fluid doing the bled. I'm almost positive I have no more air in the system. I do still have alot of brake fade though...

    Powermaster Help

I'll try to make this short. Last fall, pedal went soft and got an intermitent brake light. After several bleeds, decided a new PM was the way to go. Kirban finally got some rebuilt Cardone units, and I got it installed last fall. Followed Zeus's procedure to no avail. Still pedal to the...

    Did I break my brakes?

I made a genius move yesterday trying to install my rebuilt PM from Kirbans. I checked my rear brake shoes on the passenger side. Figured the reason I had such a hard time getting the drum off was because I forgot to depressurize the system. Duh! So before pulling the driver side drum also...

Getting behind the fuse block on the 87 GN

I have an intermittent open behind the fuse block of my 87 GN. For you service manual owners, my open wire seems to be the red fusible link "A" wire going into splice S200 behind the block. Most everything in the car was dead until I unscrewed the block from the firewall and pulled it out...

Help me get my car running again!!!

Last fall my 87 GN just died while driving. Been digging thru threads and the service manual. No luck. The trouble pointed right to a fusible link at the starter. I bought caspers pro setup and replaced all of them. Also installed their ground stretcher kit that I've had sitting around the...

    200-4R 2-3 shift problem

I had a local guy (dumb move!) rebuild my tranny. $1200 in labor & parts plus my addiion of the 9" AC Non LU converter (3200 stall) and the related pump & a few other Hi Pro parts. I can't remember the shift kit I used purchased from Poston. Here's what's happening... It works fine with...

    Casper Electronics Ground Stretcher Kit

Does anyone have the directions for the Casper Engine Ground Stretcher Kit? I just bought one from Poston and they forgot to send it with the kit. I'll call them Monday if I must but I'd like to install it tomorrow. Thanks.

    Battery relocate to the trunk

I'd like to move my battery to the truck for better weight distribution and to eliminate that dreaded positive battery cable grounding out on the manifold problem. I like Summit Racings reloc kit but the wire that comes with it is 2ga as opposed to 1ga. Is 2ga sufficient for my '87 GN and does...

    Rebuilt Tranny trouble: 2-3 upshift

I had my tranny rebuilt a year ago and it seemed to be working fine on the street until I took it to the track. When I'm at WOT, the 2-3 upshift comes so late that I actually hit the rev-limiter deep into redline. I can't adjust this at the tranny cable. I was wondering if there is some...
