i'm building up my war chest for an engine, it has life in it but's old. new or rebuilt, is there any one you guys recommend? do i crate one in, or send it out to be rebuilt?:confused:

please help, gn starts up runs for about 3 mins then stalls out on me, when i try to start it back up again it backfires and will not stay running, i let it cool down about 20-30 mins then it starts up again normal and runs about three mins and stops again, any clues????

i just wanted to post this to get some feed back, went to my local store and bought (2) 6 ton jack stands to change the rear end oil, i read in the paper that came with it and i quote "WARNING! hello all i'd like to know if this is normal or if my alternator is about to die, when car is warm (86-gn) i get between 12.9-13.1 volts it goes back and forth is this to low? i think it is and after market about 6 years old and 90 amps... thanks :confused:
