I`ve read countless threads on the head bolts but did not see one about the washers. On one side there is a inner bevel, which way do they go toward the bolt head or toward the engine head? The instuctions that came with them dont mention anything about this.

While trying to figure out why my tranny slips inbetween gears I decided to check the transmission code. Well its not a BRF, its a KTF what would this tranny have come in? I have a spare QTF tranny which one is better or does it matter. By the way this is in a 86 t-type.
