Was the other person an American citizen?
If not, they'll get away with claiming they were listening to the outsider guy and Carlson got swept up in the dragnet.
Remember, the FISA court is so stupid/crooked, that they'll buy into any bullshit story when handing out approvals. They've proven this over and over.
If the outsider is an American citizen, Carlson and anyone trying to prosecute the court, will be told to fukoff. Just like the other instances.
