I have no power at the switch (black and green wire) that connects to the AC compressor. Fuses all check out Okay. Kind of lost at this point. Anyone knows where else to start or what to check? I need my AC in this Texas heat.

I am in the process of converting over to 134 and it already has two can in there. The system is not 100 fill yet.

No I did not but I will. Can I get that relay at Autozone? There are two relays there, one with a gray connection and the other with black. Which one is it?

Some do and some dont, I found it at NAPA and Autozone for 13.00. The store closest to me didnt have it so I had to ride to the next town over! I thought that was my problem but it was the ecm fuse. I didnt know it was two, there was one at the top, right hand side that I didnt see at first:p

:mad::mad:Replaced the relay with new Autozone unit and no success. Still no volt at the connector that plugs into the compressor.

Also, if you do a search on previous threads using AC compressor as a key you may find others with more knowledge of the wiring and links that show where to check.

The A/C fuse and ECM SOL fuse have to be good.

Check for +12 on both sides of the low pressure switch light green and light blue wires to a good ground.

Then check the dark green wire out of the A/C relay to a good ground at the relay as well as at the A/C compressor.

Then check for a good ground on the black wire at the A/C compressor connector it is interrupted by a high pressure switch which opens the ground if too much pressure is in the system, wire is on the back of the A/C compressor I believe for that.

That connector must be in place for the compressor to come on.

You're in Spring and I'm in Hillsboro. If you can drive up here wensday I can help you figure it out. I'll also be off this next weekend if you're interested. If I remember right Spring is near Houston. A bit of a ride but you're welcome up here. Send me a PM if you decide to come.

IIRC isn't there a resistor right on the pigtail your talking about with the black and green wire. Could be easily overlooked and if the connection is broken on that or if you didn't notice it could be missing all together.

Agreed at one time way back the resistor wire broke & caused me many headaches.
