Starting the S-10 Blazer brake conversion

Use the L-shaped bracket that is found on the blazer. Refer to the photo in post 77. It bolts right in and all you have to do is carefully straighten your brake line downward. As the post said this will keep the rubber brake line from twisting unnaturally leading to premature failure.

    Determining correct pushrod length

Hey guys, What is the correct method/formula for determining pushrod length? I want to get this right. I have a pushrod checker. My new combo is a 210/210 roller, Erson roller lifters, ported irons, Harland Sharp rockers and Felpro 9441pt head gaskets. Is it measured length + preload +...

    FS: Waste gate new

Will that fit an ATR DP? Mine has the two bolt style mount like that. I'm running the old Delta gate that is prone to sticking.

Are you still using your stock oil cooler hoses?

I replaced mine a few years back. I haven't had any internal failures that sent trash into the radiator so I had no problem doing that. If something did, however, I would not run them for fear if some stuff in the radiator going into my fresh motor.

    3800 SC puller and downpipe

Cleaning out the garage and found these. Don't need, time to part with: Supercharger removal/install tool. Not sure who the mfg (it may have been ZZPerformance) as I got if from Ebay in used condition and used it to remove and install the pulleys on my '00 Regal GS. $90 Stainless downpipe...

    Ridetech Coilovers!

I would. Think about it, the force of the car's weight is focused on those two bolt holes in the bottom of the spring cup. I would try to double it at least. I welcome other opinions to join in. I've inspected the doubler I added to my arms and they are holding up well with not signs of bending...

    Front and rear coilover question

Tdishon, I posted info on my set up a while back on this thread. I'm not sure if you could reinforce the stock shock mount on the stock control arms to support like I did on my setup. I bought my arms first thinking of using springs then went to coil overs, so I had to adapt...

Starting the S-10 Blazer brake conversion

This is what it was looking like with the factory hose. You can see how it would be a concern. (this was a mock-up)

Starting the S-10 Blazer brake conversion

I didn't use the factory brake bracket because I was concerned about how the hose makes an immediate turn. This would cause the rubber hose to work itself and lead to premature failure. It also would impart a slight twist to the hose too when in turns. My solution to this was to use the frame...

I have the Ridetechs on mine. Been on for a year now. Love the ride! Stance is right too. Now I only have to put 18's on it to complete the look!

    First time what to purchase

If you want lots of bang for the buck, the Russian Mosin Nagant Rifles (M44s and 91/30s) are hard to beat right now, rugged, reliable, and very powerful with the 7.62x54r round. They are still cheap, but not a cheap as they were a few years ago when they were $80! Its addicting, kinda like SKS's!
