BTW, In 1999, on my Dad's 75th birthday, I took him to Dunn-Benson Dragway here near my home. Ronnie Sox was doing some exhibition runs that night. He and my Dad got back together after not racing each other since the late 50's early 60's and talked about old times. Next thing I knew Dad was...
Yes we are very fortunate. Years ago, when I first got this GN, there was a company called ATR that sold chips and other Go Fast Goodies for Turbo Buicks. I don't even know if theyre still in business or not. But I got a little fun money a couple years back and had some larger injectors...
They are the best. Ive had this GN since 1988. Ive tried every latest and greatest chip that came down the pike...
But the chip I got from TurboTweek is the very BEST, Sweetest running in ALL modes of ANY Chip Ive ever seen or used. You turned my GN into the beast Ive always thought it could be...
Just ordered that relay, they seem like good people. Very helpful in trying to make sure it was the right part. I'm keeping their contact info and am gonna refer anyone I know to buy from them when needed.
Love dealing with people who appreciate my money!
That's the great thing about this forum! No matter what I've needed to get an answer for about any problem with my GN, someone's had it happen to them. Again, I appreciate the help. Take care and have a great Holiday,
I cant find a Fuel pump relay anywhere in town. A Zettler AZ986-1A-12DC1R1 is what came out of it. (under the rear of the car by the gas tank)
Anyone know where I can find one or what might be a substitute?
Wow, that looks great man. Im not diehard original on this GN. Im getting it ready to sell. Im applying for a patent for an item my wife invented and we will be manufacturing, so ive got to come up with about 15 grand for the patent attorney fees, filing fees, and start-up expenses. I hate it...
Thanks Bryan, gotta shop in town that'll rewind starters and other types of electric motors. Think Ill take it to him when I get it off and see what they can do. if I change it out with a vacuum system Ill keep you in mind. Thanks for the info.
I had a GN mechanic check out my powerAsser brake system. The electric motor under the cylinder is burned out. Is there any way this can be seperated and replaced; or should I just junk it and go to Vacuun system.
Im about to change out the Busted powermaster unit on my GN for something less expensive and more reliable. Ive read thru some forums, but just wondering, which would be the best for a daily driver Grand National; Vacumn or Hydro-Boost? Any Pro's & Cons for each? Thanks for any help or advice.
