To throw another tire in the mix, I really like the Toyo Proxes 4. Just like any tire on a high HP car you still have to watch 'em in the rain. Nice quiet tire, and you can get them fairly reasonable. I've never tracked them but thats what DRs are for ;)
Its funny, i've always bled the master cylinder with hoses routed back into the reservoir like mentioned above. I put one in a couple weeks ago and bled it by putting plastic plugs in the ports and pumped it for a couple minutes (per the instructions). Works great now
Looks good, how many shims are you running on each upper A arm?
I bought upper A's to replace the stockers in my car and am very unhappy with them. On the passenger side the bolt is not long enough to hold all the shims I will need to get +1 degree camber. The car has never been hit and the...
By the way you were right, its offset a little bit. I'm talking enough to maybe eliminate one shim. I flipped it on the drivers side and added a shim and it is nearly perfect at +1 degree. Did the same on the passenger side and had it is still about +4 degrees :(
Today I swapped the stock G-body arm back in on the drivers side and it fixed the camber, actually I think I could pull a shim or two.. So it's not the Blazer spindles..
Still working with BMR on the issue currently, will let you know how I make out.
I should be all set now, i used a grinder and took off a little bit from a corner. The hose now comes off at a 45 degree angle to the caliper. All good :)
After being happy with their sets of rear control arms in my car, I decided to give their new upper A arms a shot. This was a entire swap with a blazer spindle and brake combo too, which by the sounds of it should be fine.
I put the arms in with them shimmed like the stock ones were (1-2...
Brake hoses
Anybody have pictures on how you used the stock brake hoses? I ht my hoses running vertically up and they are very tight around the bleeder screw.
Thanks -Mike
