Well I have been doing alot of searching of this forum and others . I have made up my mind on which direction I'm going on the powerplant. SeriesII 3800 seems to be the most cost effective way to do it. :D
The bottom line on this is doing this on a budget and from what I have found I can do the 4.3 which I already have (3) for much cheaper than a Buick 3.8.
what you are missing  is the fact that 3.8 is blown up. The 4.3 is not
tell me were I can get a running 3.8 with computer harness and trans for 300.00 and I will buy it.
not using anything from sy/ty . using stock n\a manifolds and was going to use the boat
mpi intake but going with the edelbrock and welding the injector bungs in.
okay HOPE to have some time off this weekend from both jobs to get some work done
on both my project cars . The 3.8 is coming out any one need parts Perv is already gone.
I have done alot of reading already and for what my HP goals are the 4.3 is gonna work just fine and be alot cheaper in the end. Plus the car stays V6 and turbo.
well probably gonna piss you 3.8 buick guys off but seeing how everything buick 3.8 is
extremely over priced I'm going to do a Chevy 4.3 instead.:D Already have two 4.3 one is a 96 other is 97 complete with computer harness and trans got them both for 300.00 ,ordered the 4.3 mpi boat intake...
I have used this set up on N/A SBC & BBC I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
The parts circled get installed at a certian angle in the exhaust stream and creates a vac. to releave crankcase pressure .
