Hard Block
I have been looking at putting hard block in my personal 109 block but after looking at where the bottom of the cylinder castings end I dont think it would be adventages. It would defenitly stiffen the bores though.
Just finishing putting together a 352 SBC for Robbie Ward for Magnafuel that had a bunch in the manifold and heads and it broke out on the dyno. It made a big mess. Don't do it!!!!!
The only problem with offset grinding or cutting them down to 2.100 is that the oil hole is at a angle. if you make the journal smaller, the oil hole will get to close to the radius. This will be a problem. I to looked at cutting one down and ran into this. My solution to this is to use a...

4340 Cranks
Eagle would be a good source... Rods are easy. I can get those in about 6 to 8 weeks and I only have to do 50 sets.... Cheap to... Keep thinking about those cranks thought....

How many of you guy would be interested in a 4340 forged steel crank shaft? It would be a all new part in three diferent strokes.
