    Looks like I got it to idle ok at about 1000-1100, in open loop at about 13.5 with 24 degrees of timing. It liked the lower timing down from 30-36 everywhere else. I shakes like a cammed motor would but seems stable enough and recovers fine from throttle blips. Now to post another thread...

    Vavle springs should have been fine. Matched to cam with 160 seat / 410 open. Ramps shouldn't be too harsh - 293/307 @ .006 and 242/254 @ .050. and 585/585 lift Would the corresponding bounce in RPM in the same area be fine too? More a matter of the sensitivity of the logging sensor? Thx
