    I am a simpleton.. all I know is when I look down the bore in the dodge body and watch my OE one react.. it's a slug.. though functional.. When I watched the GM one react I was very startled at how quickly it moved. All I know.

    The new style GM IAC's do react quickly! used one on the 440 I setup in Cadny Eggo last week.. VERY rapid movement. Fortuanately for us the base and mounting was VERY close to the Dodge uber slow pos that it replaced. You will like it when you get it! hehe

    on mine.. I am still running OE cam and pistons and so on.. I am not chilled other then a methanol shot.. see 155-175* temps and target about 12.2 - 12.4.. with 28* timing at a peak of 14psi. Though lately my huffin' stuff has fallen off a bit.. time for fresh belt and clean filter I think...

    If the XFi does end up in the price range of the older high end setup.. I may be tempted to swap the R/T over to it, and use the old box on my Caddy since it sees little to no race gas, only when towing.. Caddy being Chevy truck with Caddy 500 punched .030 to 507.. in the front.. tow vehicle...
