thanks for all the replies. I figured there would be a break in period but I wasn't ready for the seals to be so tight. Do any of you guys use anything to lubricate them as well that might aid in their break-in. Thanks again.
Just replaced my roof rails and door weatherstrip with new gm. The fit is good but the door and glass is so tight. Any techniques to make them conform and or relax? I bought some gm silicone emulsion and applied it. I just hate to have to close the doors with such force. Thanks kevin..
back in the late 80's a good friend of mine did the same thing to his TR7. When it was done it kept tweaking different areas of the frame. Needless to say, his welding got better by the week. It was a blast to drive. Good luck.
Canadian sled head here. I drive a thundercat, been waiting to play with one of those turbo's on the lake but haven't got the chance yet. They are mean looking. Have fun.
Hope your feeling better each day Ken. When I saw you in July you weren't feeling to good. Listen to your body and take it easy. Signs like this happen for a reason. If you need anything just ask. All the best. Kevin in Orillia.
Anything ever come out of a thread a while ago regarding having a stencil made up for blank hood pads? Haven't seen anything on here about it in awhile.
Glen at NOS4GN a big thumbs up. An excellent vendor with great customer service. Glen spent 45 minutes on the phone with me on a Saturday! Shipping was quick and everything was packed perfect. Will buy lots more. Thanks Glen. Kevin....
