    intake pipes

    All LS1 and aluminum head LT1's (Camaro and Firebird) are 3.5 inch. Iron head LT1's (Impala SS, Roadmaster) are 3.0 inch. You will not be able to stretch a 3.0 inch rubber connector over a 3.5 inch maf sensor.

    That is the most words I've read in a long time that say absolutely nothing. Gas engines 101 tells us that if a spark plug fires when the piston is near BDC like is stated in the last paragraph, then the engine will not make any power and probobly will not run.

    Question on stock turbo dimensions

    The exhaust inlet hole diameter on the stock turbo with the garrett housing is 2 1/8, and the center to center on the studs is 3 1/16. The PTE housing has the same center to center on studs and it may have a slightly larger inlet diameter. Greg

    Paid for timing chain replacement- lower oil pressures after repairs- need opinions

    Taking the pump apart and putting it back together should not lower your oil pressure IF it was reassembled with the GM gasket. A thicker gasket will increase clearance and reduce oil pressure. Check around the pump at the gasket and see if any sealant has been squeezed out. Sealant will...
