My batery went dead, I got a new one and now my car runs very rough. I drove it for serval miles and no change. it run also rich.

My Battery went dead I replaced it but my 87 Gn runs very rough and I ran it for several miles but no change. This has never happen before.

I have a 1987 gn with 16,500 miles on it and I need to change the rear main seal. Is this something easy to do. I have expierence doing minor work on my car. I am the orginal owner. Thanks
