    GNX rims..

They are all the same offset. They are all labled front. They have the dimples. All of these things say that they are GTA rims with GNX center caps, right?

    newbie has a few ?'s

Ok, you jogged my memory a bit. I believe you can get a hold of the trim piece on each side of the radio. Just get some preassure on the sides with your finger and pull it back. Keep away from the thinner piece between the radio and thermostat and you should be fine. If that doesn't work out...

The reason subs facing the rear sounds better is explained here. http://www.installer.com/tech/aiming.html

Would this stereo work in a GN?

If you are looing for a din&1/2 model with more options, look into the deh-p77dh. It plays cd-r's, but I'm not sure about the mp3's. For only $40 more, it's a hec of alot more flexible for upgrading.

If the factory replacemant you have is from the same era as the one in your car now, it should have the same mounting bolt pattern and the same wiring harness. You'll have to remove the factory trim panel before you can access the radios mounting screws. It's been a while since I've dealt...

1988 Mustang with Buick Turbo V6

IIRC, it's been so long ago, I remember reading about a GN vs.Mustang drag race where there was a black notchback with a GN drivetrain. If memory serves, it was running 8's and was the fastest car at the meet.

How can you tell a ZQ8 hub is bad

I hear a squeak from mine now, but I guess that doesn't help. I have read from other guys on a Blazer forum I frequent that they can pull thier wheel in and out when the truck is jacked up. Personally, if you have the cash, there is no good reason not to change them now, just to be on the...

    30" wheels?...

While driving around Cinci last week, I stopped at a car audio place. In the entrance, there is this HUGE Dayton wire rim. It came up to my chest, so I guess we're looking at at least 4'! I asked the guy sitting next to the rim on some prefab speaker boxes what the heck could possibly fit that...

    Weird request

If any of you guys have the time, could someone take a tape measure out side and give me the length of your hood, length plus grill shell where it turns down toward the grill, and width at the cowl? Here's the deal, I plan on grafting a buldge on my 2002 Blazer. The stock buldge is too big...

    Infinity Reference Speakers

I don't believe 4x6's will fit in the dash. They are 3 1/2's. I second the MB Quarts. Heard a set of the 3 1/2's in a Toyota truck just the other day. Not sure of the model, the guy did pay $100 for the set at a huge warehouse type place here in Louisville. I believe they're worth the...

Does anyone run 17x9.5" Torque Thrust II's on the rear of a TR?

The Turbo6 in the centercaps are slick! Really set the rims off nice.
