Damn. A few days too late. Rushed to the end of the thread to find it sold. That's just what I was looking for. :(

Where can I get a reasonable priced aluminum radiator?

Hey gang. About a year ago, one of the advertisers was listing an aluminum radiator for our GN's at a very reasonable price. I think it was around $199 or $249. I'm looking for a replacement for my stock radiator. I already have the dual fan set up, plus a have a jerry rigged external tranny...

    Smoke tail light covers (Lund)

Thanks gang. Chuck, the PD didn't have a set, but there were a few GN's on impound for speeding around town too often. :) EDEZUTEL, sent you email, and I sent DETAILDAVE one too Tony. Thank you very much.

    Smoke tail light covers (Lund)

Had Lund smoke tail light covers on my '87 GN, but one finally caught the wind and flew off. I'd love another set of the Lund wrap around type. Any ideas? I can't find em anyplace. Thought someplace had them on Amazon, but the order got kicked back. Apparently they didn't have them either.

    Brake fade on new Powermaster

I installed a Kirban rebuilt powermaster (actually it was Cardone rebuilt), and bled the unit at least 5x and the lines at least 8x. Went through 5 small bottles of brake fluid doing the bled. I'm almost positive I have no more air in the system. I do still have alot of brake fade though...

    Can't get brakes to bleed.

I too used a MityVac to no avail, then I switched the front bleeder to those speed bleeders. I vac'd the rears & pumped the fronts on my ummmm 8th bleed I think. I also thought the rear drums were out of adjustment so I used the parking brake a few times. That "should have" adjusted them...

    Can't get brakes to bleed.

First I want to apologize to Ray for hijacking his thread. Second, Drifter, no I didn't bench bleed first. I read that I should be able to do that on the car. I'm talking PM, Ray is talking vacuum. Although it seems the 2 processes I am using bleed only the driver side (2) chambers. I...

    powermaster fun

I wish I had an answer to these PM whoa's we go thru. If the fix for your PM was only adding brake fluid, you got lucky.... this time. Good luck. I hate my PM!!!!!

    Can't get brakes to bleed.

Ray, let me know how you make out. Granted I just bought a new PM setup from Kirban as opposed to a vac like yours, but I too can't get the mushy-pedal to the floor symtom to go away. I bled my brakes by the book quite a few times already. I'm pretty frustrated. I hope Kirban didn't sell me...

    Powermaster Help

Ok, the only thing I'm thinking I may have done wrong was I didn't put something around the brass proportioning valve pin to hold it in. Does anyone know if I had to do this? My procedure was vac the rear lines, and pump the fronts with speed bleeders installed. Thanks, Mike.

    Powermaster Help

I'll try to make this short. Last fall, pedal went soft and got an intermitent brake light. After several bleeds, decided a new PM was the way to go. Kirban finally got some rebuilt Cardone units, and I got it installed last fall. Followed Zeus's procedure to no avail. Still pedal to the...

    Did I break my brakes?

Ugh, I didn't think of that NovaD. I already have them back together. Oh well. Next time.

    Did I break my brakes?

Well that was easy John. Thanks. The autoparts store had a rebuild kit for $5, and new cylinders for $10 each. I'm gonna do both cylinders for a wopping $20. I shoulda known to check the parts stores first, but I got panic stricken last night, and just started typing. Thanks again! Have a...

    Did I break my brakes?

I made a genius move yesterday trying to install my rebuilt PM from Kirbans. I checked my rear brake shoes on the passenger side. Figured the reason I had such a hard time getting the drum off was because I forgot to depressurize the system. Duh! So before pulling the driver side drum also...
