So which cam do I want?

Good idea......I think I'll try that. This won't cause problems with the shoes overheating or creating too much drag though?

So which cam do I want?

He already has a 3000 stall and sticky tires.....I installed them. The big problem we are having is with launches. Can't get the damn thing to launch with more than 3 psi or so of boost. Kind of defeats the purpose of using the M/T Streets. I installed a vacuum canister in hopes that it...

Possible solution to losing brake power under boost at the line?

Well, at work today (I work at an auto parts store), I found a vacuum reserve system made by Crane. They say it's for "big" cam cars that have problems running vacuum accessories (mainly brakes) with cams that don't produce much vacuum. I think it COULD work for the turbo Buick that I work...

Only holds 5 psi with vacuum brakes!

I've concluded that the reason for the lack of ability to build higher boost with vacuum brakes is because of the fact that the brake system needs vacuum in order to operate correctly. Essentially, what happens is that when you reach boost while stalling it up at the line, you lose all the...

    Trouble with line lock solenoid

S10 wheel cylinders put in, only holding 2lbs!?

The wheel cylinders have been installed correctly, with the new lock rings.....they have both been bled thoroughly. The shoes are NOT new, but they have plenty of padding left. The drums are perfectly smooth, no cuts or grooves, and no cuts on the shoes either. Master cylinder has plenty of...
