Still looking for a 2600 - 2800 stall lockup converter.

Looking for a new or used torque converter, the stock one is giving up - my specs on the '87 GN are below - I'm on the stock turbo but I'd like to go to a TA 49 or TE 44 maybe next summer. The car is a summer cruiser, so I don't need anything too crazy, but would prob like to upgrade from stock.

Dave, I meant to tell you, I think the new MAF did the trick. I had the car in storage when I replaced it but the powerlogger wasn't picking up any blips while the car was idling. Thanks again.

No one around to borrow from. Ordering the new one from NAPA. I didn't know a reman could be poorly calibrated. Can you adjust for that or will it always be a handicap ? Thanks.

I can't quite tell what you were saying in this line at 'isn't gonna get it'. Btw, the best I got at the track was a 13.7, but on street tires and I've done very few runs. Definitely room for improvement. Thanks a lot for the info.

18's Here's some 18" x 7" and 18" x 8" torqlites I got last summer with 4" and 4.5" BS. Tires are 245/40 and 275/35. Idea from 87GNasty's setup he had. :smile: Rims were inexpensive and Hankook K104 tires were a great price too.
