EGR and FelPro 1200's ?

What do you guys do for the EGR passage when using FelPro 1200 Intake gaskets ? seeing that there is no provison on the gasket for the EGR passage .

Can you just cut and match the gasket to the opening on the intake without causing a problem ? This is the way I did it on a recent rebuild and a lean exhaust valve was found on #3 after the engine was torn down .

Or does it have to be cut out in that kidney shape as found on the head ? the stock intake gasket seems to have this shape as well .

There shouldn't be a problem to cut the gasket and match to head for the egr. Should work!!
