GN or not GN?

I have what appears to be a 1987 Grand National. However, the trunk sticker shows W02 instead of WE2. This car has been owned by my late Step Father since 1993 and has always looked and been badged as a GN. Is it possible for it to be a GN without the WE2 code??

I found this:

Go to turbo lounge heading click on dennis kirban trunk ID numbers and he covers this there and somewhere else in depth. Quick point every WE4 was black had black bumpers and black trim and a grey bucket seat interior. Code on trunk ID label would read WE4 and WO2. The built 1,547 total.

So does it have GN headrest? Two tone seats? Gray tri-Buick emblem horn button?

Yes it has all the GN badging and seats and interior markings and emblems.

A picture of the cowl tag under the drivers wiper area would help as well if there is no matching trunk sticker with VIN number ID.
No WO2 code on a GN, must have the WE2 code or it's something else....

And if you blowup that photo showing the fender badge you can see it doesn't line up nicely.
