Been collecting parts to put a small system in my car. So far have Amp,Sub,Door speakers, Going to use the Dash and rear deck that are in there already. They are only a year old.

I have been looking at the Pioneer Head units. A couple of months ago I looked at model AVH-X7500BT. but now see they have a new unit out I like better cause it has a few more options that I like.
It is Model AVH-X7700BT. Anyone have a problem putting this kind of unit in the car? Looks like maybe I might just have to take the cig. lighter out to get a good angle for it.

Here are the other parts I have collected. My car didn't have concert sound so adding that in to it

door speakers

concert sound pods

5 channel amp

Sub 10"

I run a Pioneer 7inch flip out in my buick. No issues at all. I wish there was a kit to run a double din though.

Im in the coast guard and I am on the boat on duty right now. When i get home tomorow afternoon ill take a few pictures for you.

No no no. You can't post a picture of a radio displaying a power logger screen and not provide details. Is it just a laptop video output into one of the inputs of the receiver?

Thanks for the pics. was worried about it hitting the shifter, want to get the shifter handle like you have also.

And YES how is the power logger display on the radio work? Is that the new interface that makes it work with Tablets and other displays?(DDI) It isn't out yet is it?

I don't know how he did it. I didn't ask. But it's been that way for a couple years now. He's aware of this thread. He can chime in if he wants

Hello, the pic ineedagn posted is from my car. Let's see... What did I do? I modified a s-video out cable, so I could plug in a rca style video in on the screen. I think it was for a back up camera or something. The s-video was on the laptop side. I asked bob b if there was anyway to hook up an iPad to the logger. He didn't reply. I think that would be better than a laptop. Maybe some day

I just carry "the brick" with me...AKA the 1997 Compaq armada 7400, featuring pentiumII and windows 98 and a whopping 4gb hard drive. I play on my 64 gb iPhone while its loading..

A tablet doesn't have a hard drive like a computer. So vibrations won't damage it as easily. Also touch screen would be easy to navigate. Add in gps and weather data. Just saying its 2015 possibilities are endless. I am not a softwhere guy, so I can't do shit to make it happen

This and the discussion of a pod style scanmaster go hand in hand. Lots of ideas are thrown out by members. Most are cheap. Just like the discussion of putting scanmaster readouts and WB in the empty slots of dummy lights. Make us up a kit, we'll do the rest. No worries about fancy packaging and costs. I agree with austin. Why not utilize the technology so many are using? I can download the torque app on my phone for a measly 10 bucks and it runs off bluetooth to a port adaptor. A scan tool for 28 bucks. Yet our old "low tech" cars require a 250 dollar product have to use laptops that arent always ideal having set on the passenger seat.
