I posted this in the scan tool section but it's getting dark and I need quicker help so I'm posting it here.

I've searched and nothing that has been posted tells me anything useful.
I have Razors fuel XDCR and wiring harness installed so there is only one wire to connect.

Wire from harness connected to I4 at PL block but I don't get any reading..
What am I supposed to do with PL to read fuel psi?

The .ini file doesn't look like anything that anyone else has posted so how do I configure PL for the 0-145psi?

You should see custom analog stuff a little further down in the INI file:

You can see in mine I custom trimmed the 0psi voltage so it reads a perfect 0psi. To do this you just loosen the fuel pressure xdeucer so it's exposed to 0 psi, then note the voltage it is reading on the config page.

I am guessing you might need a software upgrade or something then. Get the latest from the full throttle forum?

Upgrade!? I just bought the FK'n thing..
Where do I download the newest version?

I'm running PLC 1_3_3 which one do you have installed?

The powerlogger S19 file I have is PLO30.s19

Haha well it should be up to date then.... lemme think here.
I FOUND IT...

Here's the new ini file..

the PLC updates that INI file each time the application closes. It should be automatically generating those custom analog settings components of the file.....

there ya go. tweak analog 4 to your liking!

if the sensor is connected and working properly you will see it's voltage reading in real time on the config page.

Another tidbit... you can zero out the MAP sensor reading by hitting "control-b". that resets the barometer.

The car's put away for the night so I can't run it till tomorrow. I guess I'm kinda lost.
Will the ini file automatically update with the correct voltage values when it "sees" the xdcr or do I need to correct the numbers in the ini file in blue?
The items in GREEN I'm guessing I can retype to say whatever I want? I see yours is different..?

Here's the specs:
.5V=0
4.5V=145

Looking at your file:

CustomAnalog4LongName=Fuel Pressure PSI
CustomAnalog4Tag=FPSI
CustomAnalog4GaugeMin=0
CustomAnalog4GaugeMax=100

CustomAnalog4MinValue=0
CustomAnalog4MaxValue=145

CustomAnalog4MaxVolt=4.5

those are user configurations.

Get the info on the sensor, and set them accordingly.

Bob

ok, I just saw the sensor info in your post.

.5 - 4.5v 0 - 145psi,

That is the volts to psi stuff that goes in the ini file so that PLC knows how to display the signal for you.

we will start with Steve's settings

[CustomAnalog4]
CustomAnalog4Name=Fuel Pressure PSI
CustomAnalog4LongName=Fuel Pressure PSI
CustomAnalog4Tag=FPSI
--------------------------------------------------------the first 3 are just names on the screen so you know what you are looking at

CustomAnalog4GaugeMin=0
CustomAnalog4GaugeMax=100
CustomAnalog4GraphMin=0
CustomAnalog4GraphMax=100
--------------------------------------------------- then next 4 are the min and max of the gauge and graph display

CustomAnalog4MinValue=0
CustomAnalog4MaxValue=145
CustomAnalog4MinVolt=0.474999994039536
CustomAnalog4MaxVolt=4.5
------------------------------------------------------------------------ this last section is where the sensor stuff goes. the PSI range first, the corresponding voltages second.

I'm guessing that he set the min volt to 0.474999994039536 so the PL would match his gauge, but who knows.

I hope this is helpful.

Bob

Yes! Thank you!
I'll give it a shot tomorrow..

How would I add this info

"--------------------------------------------------- then next 4 are the min and max of the gauge and graph display"

to the ini file for future reference so the program doesn't read it... like a comment or ???

ks

I played with it a little, there is no defined comment symbol for ini files.

but you can type anything on its own line, it should be ignored.

so you can probably put

--------------------------------------------------- then next 4 are the min and max of the gauge and graph display

in and it will probably be fine.

further reading, the comment line should probably start with a semicolon, while not specified, an example on the compiler company's web site has it in an example.

so use:

; then next 4 are the min and max of the gauge and graph display
