XFI start up?

I'm new to the XFI as well and someone else did the install and set up on mine but I get the crank run for a second and die then restart and it runs fine. It seems if I wait 3-5 sec after I turn on the key to start the car it does better.

Could be a combination of IAC opening postion and cranking/aftertart fuel. If you log the AF ratio from key on and cranking you should be able to see what is going on.
