okay im probably gonna sound stupid but how can you tell if you are getting boost?

maybe you don't have a turbo car ...sorry couldn't resist...how does the power feel....you not feeling the car pull when you mash the pedal?

Do you have a boost gauge? When you put a load on your motor does the turbo whistle and make positive pressure?

when i kick the car down i hear the turbo spool and it goes like crazy but after a few seconds of having it mashed the car bogs for just a second and then continues like nothing ever happend. So what i thought was maybe the wastegate actuator wasnt opening causing the bog??

You may want to invest in a boost gauge before going any further meaning no more going into boost hard. Do you have a scanmaster any gauges??? You need a way to monitor knock and control boost or you may damage the engine.

And where would you recommend to buy one?
