what was used to refurbish the inner wheelwells?

LED side markers...

Note how the original bulb lights up more of the bottom when compared to the LED light strip. Ya, I'm getting ahead of myself...I need to get the engine and trans built first before I go playing with this kinda stuff...:p

by the way, where did you find your LED light strips for the side markers? or did you make them?

Man, I need to get you a hold of mine! Absolutly AWESOME work. Takes talent to do that! Love your other cars as well!

I read the build, why was it necessary to leave the original bulbs in place.

You leave the original bulbs in place so it will not effect the flashing rate of the turn signal flasher. The original flasher needs resistance to properly time the flash rate of all the signals. LEDs may also keep the turn signal indicator on the dash "on" all the time. You can eliminate the bulb but you would have to use an electronic flasher designed for LED usage.

Awesome!

I love looking at before, during and after a restoration pics. The car has come quite a long way, CONGRATS!

Dude, I hate you! j/k
I thought my resto was pretty clean but you have really gone all out. I hope to be able to see that car in person one of these days. (might have to keep me away from it to prevent drool all over it);)

Excellent job. Can't wait to see th finished product. Any idea on what goodies the engine will get? Are you going to be doing suspension work also? If you mentioned it in your list forgive me, it was very long and looking at it made my wallet hurt...:p

WOW!!! Super impressive! I am speechless... That is beautiful, and I love your OCD attention to detail!
