A while back my grandfather bought a '78 Regal with a complete '87 GN drivetrain and some GNX goodies built by some GM engineer around the time the GNX was sold. I've posted on here about it before...some have heard about it, seen it, knew the guy who built it, etc.
Anyhow, it wasn't running when purchased and we finally had some time to mess with it over the summer. One missing fuel pump fuse and a cam sensor adjustment later she fired right up. But the turbo seals are in bad shape so she's pretty smokey and I'm in need of a rebuild kit for it.
I read on here somewhere, not sure if there's truth to it, that there were some variations of turbos used on these things and seeing as how this is an odd one to start with I figured someone on here would know exactly what this is with some pictures.
Again, I'm in need of a rebuild kit for this thing and interested to see what is recommended and where to get it from.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
