I could go on and on...My point. Their are MANY more things to be outraged about in our world today. The least of them is a woman showing her tit on live television. Despite what you may think it was NOT CBS, it was not MTV it was one chick who decided she would stir things up before her album is released in the next few months. IT IS NOT A CONSPIRACY. Take the tin foil off of your head. No one is trying to corrupt you children. Please tell me you dont drink beer because every beer company has chicks in little to nothing getting wet and wrestling, if you want to tell me that, that is more detremental to a child then a 2 second "blip" of a single titty....ok what ever.

Getting outraged at something like this is pure laziness. Its too easy to get mad at something so stupid than it is to try to actually change this f'ed up country and world we live in today....and if she would of never showed her tit guess what the world would still be f'ed up.

It took me about 30 seconds to list those REAL problems we have, pick one and lets try to REALLY get something accomplised!!!

"RANT OFF"
:)

T-Limited you are so right! That is the very reason why I'm so outraged! I have served my country during the Gulf War. I have 2 tours to the other side of the country to protect and defend the land of the free and the home of the brave as it is said........problem is, that is not the way it is...it's the land of the freaks, and home of the deranged! I don't like any of the above mentioned facts, but I pay my taxes, a $hit load I might add, and most importantly, I vote. So I do what I can do, and if I want to raise hell about something, by God that's my right! You wonder why the nation is so corrupt with dirty politicians, and down right mean people that don't care about anybody but their own social status? It's because of the family morals break down in America. Yes, that tit incident is a major freakin' deal to me. I look further than the 2 seconds, like the implications it will have when somebody else gets a bright idea to do something else more perverted, and they say, well Janet showed her tit at the superbowl show, whats wrong with this? I think people who don't take the little things like this more serious are the lazy ones!

Grayghost, much as you have the right to express your feelings about the half-time show, everyone else has the right to express their feelings about the half-time show.
The difference is that you volunteered to make your opinion(s) public on this board, thus opening yourself to criticism; and, inviting others to express their opinion on the show.
With your strong reactions and name calling you have really dug your heels in for your cause which makes it difficult for you to handle this whole thing with any graciousness.
To everyone else, Grayghost is seemingly passionate about about the human figure and its display, let him have it and drop the issue.
By the way, Grayghost, the color is properly spelled grey, not gray - ebonics withstanding and no offense intended all around.

I'll share something else with you all, every Memorial day, I take my 3 girls to a Memorial Cemetary in the area, with fresh cut flowers, and walk around putting them on the graves of service men, and women, explaining to my girls why we have our freedoms from their lives layed down. But most importantly, because of the freedoms we have, we have great responsibilty to live right with those freedoms.
Individuals that step beyond the lines of appropriate behavior that intitle positions of celebrity status, and office, like our former great President Clinton:rolleyes:   , rob from our freedoms every single day! It pains me greatly to think that just about 60 years ago, the U.S. gave over 400,000 lives, so we could take advantage of it by sitting back and watching Janets tit get flashed at a superbowl hafltime show on public, primetime T.V. and not think anything about it!?! I don't think so, I might not be in the service anymore, but that does not mean I won't still stand and fight for what I believe in.

I'm suing!!!!

I was driving my car, watching the super bowl on the plasma screen radio I installed when Mr Timberlake removed Janets upper right garment, it caught me so of guard, I spilled my coffee onto my news paper that I had been reading, which then bled black ink on the white linen pants I was steaming in the passenger seat and cause me to swerve off the road and hit a tree. I want 1 billion dollars in straight up damages...no class action for me. Only one who wins in a class action is the lawyers who get 75% of the settlement.

Another person with a point, but if you go back to the beggining statement it said for those of you concerned......yes I volunteered to make my opinion public, opening myself up, yada yada...but if you are not concerned then why bother to jump on the discussion? Everybody say's who cares, big deal, o.k., why reply? I read post all the time, if I don't care about it, I click the back button......
Oh, and reread again, because I never called anybody a "name", I said that they SOUNDED like an idiot based on their statements....again that is my opinion.....I don't know anybody personally that has responded, therefore I can only base my statements on what I see them print.....and I never say somebody IS, because I don't know, I say they SOUND like to me..........that's me, not anybody else.
Last thing, I spell checked grey, and gray, grey being the one NOT found in the dictionary.....I guess Microsoft must have it wrong.....

Look at my other post on that.....didn't like that either.....I didn't like any aspect of the superbowl other than it was a damn good game. Too bad it was overshadowed by garbage.

Bottom line is Morals. You can say whatever you want about more important issues. I think TV is very important in a American household and that is something I can control to a degree. I cannot control Bush or that the dollar is dropping value or that big companies want to move out of this Union infested country to by labor cheaper. However I can voice my frustrations. Maybe some of you do not have children maybe some do, however I think it is wrong and before you know it people will be cursing and swearing on TV and porn will be all over. Get the point!!!!!

For once I can't find anything you said to disagree with! You are totally right. When she through her booby out, I spilled my beer and you probably lost your place in the book of Leviticus, but regardless of where you stand religiously, you have to agree that kids do not need something like this (Literally) thrown in their face.
