I made a trans support for mine so I could work on the car while it waits for it's new heart ! I'll be running it up & down the lift quite a few times while doing the fuel lines & clean up.
Yep, its normal, the rockers are loaded on the shaft by the pushrods/lifters pushing upwards on the pushrod cup in the rocker on one end, and the valve spring pushing up on the other. They obviously pivot on the bottom of the rocker, that's the fulcrum. It makes me laugh when people remove a stock shaft rocker system from a Buick V-6/V-8 and says " LOOK AT HOW LOOSE THEY ARE" Its cool, your learning
Can anybody answer this???Another qustion i had who makes a complete engine gasket kit for our buicks and if you guys have a part number even better!
Do they work good for engines with higher boost levels??Felpro does
