Ditto that! It has wheels, right ? DRIVE IT !!! You want an investment, go into the stock market....this is a car and is meant to be FUN....

Look at it this way, if you drop dead a month (or a year) from now would you rather have had as much fun with the car (modding and racing etc) which is what you indicate you wanted from a TR in teh first place, or have had it sit in your garage as an umolested 2 owner car that never got to reach its potential because some guy told you you shouldn't mod it? And if your dead...or on your death bed, is it really gonna matter to any of your family or friends that you have an unmodded 1987 Buick ?

Just another way of looking at things.....life is too short to do what other people wnat you to do.

Only in my dreams, and I am not going to say wherther those dreams are going to be without moisture or not. Speaking of Dawn, I wish that I could find a "Dawn" to crack up.
