I'm from Lahaina. Do you have a Turbo car? Have never seen one on Maui and lived there my whole life.

Aloha Ryan
I know of three GN's on Maui and at least one Turbo-T with mine being one of the GN's. Mine is a 87 that I bought from a retired cop in Haiku, 100k and a little rust along the bottom edges of the door panels. The first thing I did was to find this site along with a few others and I've been really lucky to have crossed pathes with Jack Cotton , he has helped my organize my buildup plan. A little at a time is how I'm approaching my project, once all the mechanics are rock solid , it's time for body and paint.Do you have any insight on a good paint/body shop?In the mean time it would be my pleasure to leave some rubber at Chang's Beach with you in mind. Aloha for now.

I'm active duty military and stationed in Oklahoma City right now. Hopefully be able to get to Pear harbor. Would like to increase the population of Turbo Cars in the Valley Isle. As far as paint shops. When I was growing up, a can of primer was my paint shop. Every time I'm at home I try to explain to my Uncle what a GN, Ttype etc.. is. I just say it's like a Monte Carlo. He has a nice 55 Belair. There are some PICs on my website. Have a chicken katsu for me.

Hey Guys,

I used to live on the North Shore of Oahu. Velzy-Land:eek: But all I had then was a 3.8 carbed Monte Carlo. Now I'm in Texas (US's ugliest coast line) but at least I get to roll in my Buick. I still miss the Pacific though.
