I would put the factory chip guard back on. They did not do finish body work in those areas because they were gonna cover it, so those areas are pretty rough. It'll take two cans.

I agree with what Turbofrank suggested. But yes, in the mean time you can tilt the window inward. The glass should obviously end up in the center of the weatherstripping channel, behind the blowout clip. Can help with the procedure if need be. Howard

That's quite a repair. Thankfully Brian had the piece available so the body shop didn't have to fab one. They did a really nice job with the install.

This is what I ended up with. 1/2" to the rear, 5/8" to the front and centered the door strip. I don't have the edge guards back on yet. Still a long way to go.
