I am looking at a 86 Buick T-Type. Which would be my second one. This one has black ext. with grey int. with bucket seats, shift on the floor. It has a chrome molding on the body. I have never seen that on a TR? Is this a real T? Wh1 package?

Got to replace the front and rear bumper fillers on my 86T. The forward passengers filler is really going. I figured I would change them all. What is better, abs or fiberglass? Where is the best place to get them? Do they fit in out of the box, or do you have to modify? Thanks.

I had the same problem, it was bad connections on the chip in the computer. I took the chip out/in a few times. Problem solved. My car is a 86T cold air. Maybe the same? I asked the same question here and that's what I got, and it worked. Before I took the computer out, I just hit the kick panel...

Thanks for the advice everyone. It was the contacts on the chip. I took it and cleaned the contacts. She is running great, just like nothing happened. I started the car before I did anything and she was doing the same. I was afraid that the problem would be an intermittent issue. Thanks again...

My 86 T-Type got sick this weekend going to a car show. It started when I first got there. She wouldn't idle. I had to put her in neutral and give her the gas. When the show was over, she was just the opposite, wouldn't calm down from a fast idle. Had to ride the brake. I checked vacuum lines...
