    SINGLE TURBO HEADER/MANIFOLD IDEAS

I agree, most cars have the turbo's compressor wheel pointed towards the front of the car. We wanted the car to be somewhat streetable, so there's an air to air intercooler in front of the turbo that prevented us from doing that. The radiator is mounted under and parallel to the trunk floor...

    SINGLE TURBO HEADER/MANIFOLD IDEAS

This is what we came up with using Stainless Works headers feeding a Precision large frame turbo.

    Turbo LS Cost

I agree with you 100%. I used to race in TSM. Five years ago we sold the V6 motor and started the Dart block SBC V8 project. I kept a spreadsheet of everything we bought for the project and I'm north of $21K. That's using the XFI/XIM and the TH400 from the V6 and doing all the work...

    lakewood 90/10 front shocks

Mark is correct. Double adjustable is the way to go if you can afford them especially if you're using a drag radial. 90/10's have very little rebound (extension) damping.

    HRParts Swaybar

You cannot go wrong with the HR sway bar and bushings. It installs without welding and Paul is a great guy to work with. I had a 1.24 60' on 275 drag radials. Car launches straight and I no longer run air bags. Posted from the TurboBuick.Com mobile app

New car just want input on what to do next

When I had the V6 in the car with the PTC, I drove it very little; once in a while to a cruise in 10 minutes away. With the V8 I hardly drive it on the street at all, so I don't have a lot of personal experience with this converter on the stree. However, a good friend of mine, Bob Hansen, has...

New car just want input on what to do next

I ran Red's double pumper back in the TSM days with 96 lb/hr injectors, a 70mm turbo and 224/224 camshaft. That setup will supply enough fuel to get you deep in the 9's without having to redo your fuel lines. Also, I saw your post about issues launching the car. Here are a things I found in...

    Anyone running manual brakes

RmvBfrFlght is exactly right. It's a balancing act. A larger bore will have less line pressure and less pedal travel. A smaller bore will have more line pressure, but more pedal travel. We went to a manual brake setup when we put the V8 in the car. Took 3 different bore master cylinders to...

How are you running your fuel line up to the motor on a turbo ls?

Here is a drawing I put together when I was coming up with a parts list of all the AN fittings I need. You'll have to verify what you need as I'm using a different regulator and most likely different fuel rails. I also found one other picture that may be helpful.

How are you running your fuel line up to the motor on a turbo ls?

This is a picture of a SBC in my T-Type. I know this isn't the greatest picture, but I'm out of town right now to show anything better. I mounted a Y block on the driver's side head and then ran the fuel lines from that to the back of the fuel rails.

    1987 limited

Awesome Restoration I saw Mike's car for the first time on Sunday. All I can say is the pictures don't do this car justice. The attention to detail is amazing and the workmanship is second to none. If somebody is looking for an ultra clean stock car, look no further. Great job Mike!
