What is normal Operating temperature with 160 stat & ramcharger fan??

todays local temp 87 Degrees.........

5ltretr, my RC fans come on at 173, I watch the temp gauge go down, then they go off at 162. Thus, the normal operating temp varies up and down between 162 and 173.

ackkk I'm at 196 and its only 87 degrees today.......

I'm waiting for the car to cool down maybe I need more antifreeze.

Highway was no problem dropped to high 170's

Those RC fans are cheap, easy to install, and highly effective for putting your mind and motor at ease while driving. If you get one, I recommend you inspect the wire/pin connections in the adaptor and ground each of the black wires.

the fans work great , and they kick in at 170...

I think my rad might need to be flushed out or something.

The thermostat just sets the min operating temp..
There's alot of items that effect operating temp..

Antifreeze makes it run hotter, get rid of it in the summer!

OK I think I found the problem,

My THDP is leaking right after the turbo, how do I seal this up???

Do they make a gasket ?

yes they make a gasket. check with the vendors on this board.
