What are your coolant temp rdg's?

Where do you keep your coolant temp? Mine seems to run a bit cold im running a stock rad no thermostat with z06 fan's and a thermoswitch to control when fans come on and off.. im kinda near 160-170 i say that because my SM rds 12* colder than my Temp Gauge.. So my SM will read 155 and my temp gauge usually show 167+-.. Not sure if i should be running a little hotter around 180 ishhh anyone do some testing with the ethanol and coolant temps?

Mine has always run between 170 - 180 degrees. Even in the summer heat after having some fun it won't get over 180...maybe a few degrees for a minute then it's back down. Cruising in the summer is 170-175 (dual electric fans/aluminum rad/thermostat). One thing I've noticed is if the car isn't warmed up to at least 160, it will show minor knock if pushed. Where is your temp gauge getting it's readings from? 155 degrees is on the cool side for having fun in my car, never checked my SM for temps...always went off the external temp gauge.
