Valve stem height

Got my heads back finally and the porting looks great. When I looked at the valve stem height I did not even need a straight edge to see that they were different heights, I mean over an 1/8" from valve to valve. Now what do I do? I am not sending the heads back to Fla. as it took over a year to get them as it was. Could I try lash caps to correct this or should I have the valve job done again. I am having the worst time with people who are suppost to know what is going on in the Buick world. I am about ready to give up. All I want is to be able to run at Bristol this year.

Thanks for any input.
