Reason I'm asking is my car has had the rusted vac lines replaced with hoses no check valves on any of the lines. Which lines need the check valves and which ones do not.

Search vacuum line routing. There is a drawing of the lines and check valves that will help you.

All the small ones need check valves except the one that runs to the fuel pressure regulator.

Otherwise you'll be pressurizing stuff like your HVAC controls in the dash and the vacuum reservoir.

theres a diagram on the emmision label on the a/c box

HVAC , egr solenoid , and evap cannister get them

install with end you cant blow through toward the vac block

If you don't you'll blow the vacuum lines off a junction block under the dash through the firewall, and your climate control vent won't operate anymore between defrost and regular vents.
