I had a first last week for a failure on a turbocharger. The left turbo lost the nut holding the compressor wheel on. I spoke with Limit after he recieved the turbos, he said that it looked if something had come through the header and hit the turbine wheel and thats what caused the nut to back off the compressor ??!!!?!??. I pulled the header, plugs ect...... nothing has passed through the header. I didnt take the turbine housing off so I cant say what the back side of the turbine looked like, but the outside of the turbine had zero damage other than where it kissed off on the housing due to the nut lose on the compressor. Have any of you guys seen this senerio before ?
