Tranny "Freshen" costs

"Freshen" is a 1-2 year event racers use referring to a minor rebuild. Since my car had had a daily pounding for about a year and a half since being rebuilt, it needs one. Does anyone know an approximate price for this work? I'm trying to work it in the budget. My tranny is a 4L60E and I'm told I can have some 4340 pieces put in to handle more HP. Does anyone know how much the extra pieces are? Maybe I'll do both at the same time.

He he, very funny. I'm trying to weigh my tranny options based on cost effectiveness. Bruce knows I'll get the money somehow. At least that bonehead doc finally paid me for the computer work I did for him several months ago. I don't want to spend $5k for a solution that is no better than a $2k solution. I also need to know the "Freshen" costs because with any tranny I'll have to face that and work it into my Hot Rod expense budget. So give me some numbers!!!! Even high end ball park figures are OK but I need SOMETHING to go on.
