Here's my ole hot rod headed for the paint shop. First time the car has EVER been on a trailer. Doors and deck lid coming off at the shop.

Well it's just about ready for primer. Once the primer coats are done the doors and deck lid are coming off so all the jambs can be done real nice.

Car is all in primmer and ready for paint ( will have color on it Monday). Took the doors off yesterday and the windows out as I'm putting all new glass in the car. Went back to his shop last night and he had all the door jambs sanded and ready for paint.Doug (my painter) has the car super straight.

Car is painted and here it is just starting the wet sanding.

Very nice, Mike! Sanding will make it look perfect. How many layers did you have them put on and what type of clear coat was used? I hope you bring it down here this year would love to see it in person.

COMING home tomorrow !!! Here are a few pics. of all the trim done at the shop and it is now stored in Momma's dining room and she is NOT real happy about it. Hee-Hee. This is the car cut and buffed but NOT even polished yet. Got one door and the fenders back on, Doug (my painter ) was installing the drivers door, with my help and polishing the car this afternoon. Sorry but the pic. doesn't do his paint job justice as he made the car STRAIGHT and the paint is AWESOME. I'll post better pics. of it when I get it home. Pic. of the car is below in next pics.
