If you haven't figured out what a sticky is, they're the posts at the top of each section so you can read them for better understanding of your car. Reading them may just give you the answer you're looking for rather than doing a search, or posting a question.

A sticky is a sticky because it provides good info, and it doesn't have to be bumped to get it started again. If there's a question you want to ask about the info then post that question so it can be answered. If you just want to question the validity of the sticky because of it's age, then consider why that sticky hasn't been posted in for a while. Either there's no new info or no new questions that can't be answered by reading it.
