RIP Jim Dotson

R.I.P. Jim. Back in the late 80s early 90s, his friends shop Dixie Machine built a 455 motor for my stepfathers 70 GS. He was close friends with one of my stepfathers co workers and they would bracket race often at Bristol.

Very sad news and i will always remember his car when it was running deep in the 8s!!

Jim was a friend, fierce competitor and great person to be around at the various Buick events. We will truly miss Jim (UNDERDOG) Dotson.

Wow. This is a sad day. I don't think I ever heard anybody say anything but nice things about Jim. He was a friend and will be sorely missed. A fierce competitor and a kind heart and soul. Our bs sessions will be missed but not forgotten. RIP to you my friend and GODSPEED. And to your family and friends my deepest sympathies and prayers go out to you.

Sorry to hear that Jim past away.Never met him but seen him racing at all the buick events and even raced against him a few times.Never won he was to good.RIP.
