What paint will look the best on a intake manifold?
My wife brought home some dupli-color high heat aluminum, and I think it looks like crap. Looks more like a bad chrome job.

Do i need high heat paint?

Thanks for the help, John

Eastwood makes some paint called aluma-blast. Looks perfect. You can use it on the valve covers also.

I did mine flat black. $2.00 a can. Easy to take care of or touch up. They denied my loan application so I couldn't afford the eastwood stuff. :(

Hi-Temp Aluminum but the key is to lightly dust with Hi-Temp Clear on top...the aluminum alone looks too bright/shiny...when you spray on the clear it darkens the aluminum and reduces the shine...the paint cures more as it is exposed to heat from the engine and looks better after a few heat cycles...another benefit with the clear is oil/grease wipe off easily...
